It Doesn't Seem To Happen Fast Enough
I slept in this morning until I knew I could face the day. The night time just kept dragging on, one minute at a time. As I saw it was nearing noon, I decided that I could risk lifting my head off the pillow, and pray God had a better day for me than night. The phone rang, "Are you feeling better?" It was as if it were perfect timing that she called. She had been concerned since I spoke to her last night crying. During the day today she called just to check in. No other reason, didn't need anything, other than just checking on me. You know it's funny how they show up.....Angels.
When you think no one cares. There they are. Sitting behind the secretary's desk, calling to check on friends.
As Mary went to the empty tomb on that first Easter morning, she came looking for the Mesiah. She didn't come expecting so see an empty tomb. Are you looking for God in the places you expect to see him? Are you looking for God in places that you go each day?
